I went out at 72 this about ten this morning did the coops.
Came back in watch turner classic movies.
Birds are fine here lots for them to good with.
Dogs are outside again.

A nice cool 72 now, supposed to reach 82 which means it'll get to 86 here.

Picked all the leaf lettuce I could and got it in the fridge. Fertilized all tomatoes, peppers, winter squash and greens with chicken crappost and mulched over the beds with dry leaves and grass.

Now it's time to work on the truck. Front blinker bulb is blown. I'll replace both sides while I'm at it.

Yup I do tables early, wearing cotton is my saving grace.
We do not have noticeable humidity or I am immune to it.

Doing well except for my egg eating birds. I'm building a roll away nest box today. It's break time now.

I have not had egg eaters thank the lucky stars.
I bought 2 bags of start up in Morton feed store called 3 way.
Birds are not thrilled.
They leave a good portion of it on the floor.
The data on it says 10 percent of this to the food.
Guess it is Purina based should have read better Nutrena 3 way.

I dont have problem birds. They only eat broken eggs, so a few a year max in the nests. I toss ones I crack to them as well. I find eggs layed in the runs occasionally that are perfectly intact

Guess my pullets are now laying eggs LOL found like 4 little tiny eggs thought they were fairy eggs but cracked one open this morning and nope just a real tiny eggs see the 2nd row they are my tiny pullet eggs

Did have one fairy egg before my pullet layed.
I have Welsummer pullets growing up with speckled Sussex
3 of each getting old enough this was a nice blue egg.
There is 3 of my own hatch that will possibly lay green or marans eggs.

The chickens have their new roll away laying box. Hope they use it tomorrow. The back of the box tips forward to reveal the eggs.
