I put a sweatshirt on this morning to keep warm. I started thawing a package of hot dogs for supper but all of a sudden started craving fried chicken so I bought an 8 piece. Just 4 pieces are left now. LOL

It's supposed to get up to 74 today. I've enjoyed the rain but it would be nice to have a little more summer left. It's quite overcast and foggy on the river this morning.

I've been working on my house this morning. I just finished hauling a couple truck loads of stuff out of the two small bedrooms and into the shop building, getting them ready for paint.

After that (which could take weeks) I'll install the laminate flooring I bought at HomeDepot this morning. Got it on clearance for 52 cents a square foot. Happy about that deal for sure!

I still haven't checked for eggs yet. And I think another one of my girls has water belly. I been expecting another case of ascites because I'm pretty sure some of the hens are siblings with the same genetics.

All my years never had a issue with any of my birds.
We moved here got birds never have had medical problems.
Used Dea to ward off mites just a bit.
Corid is our friend when peeps are young.

Learnes a new and fun way to torture myself today. 4 weeks post surgery. Still not allowed to straighten. A finger width from being able to touch my palm with the pinky now.
