Good news about potatoes is they multiply and come back each year.

I'll definitely save some. The "seed" potatoes I planted were found in a box of the produce throwaways from the grocery store. They were small organic potatoes, red and white.

well okay it is 9:30 almost 10, 69 out here.

My son and the grandkids are coming down today. We're going to replace the awning fabric on my (maybe soon to be his) travel trailer. I pulled bread and ham out of the freezer for lunch, with bread and homemade jam for dessert.

We brought the mower back yesterday, we will bring in the yard to unload.
Second cup, I overslept DH went out opened the birds for me.
I had not been sleeping well with him sick.

94 degrees!!! Chickens get cold watermelon today.

In the time it took to write that we went up to 95!!!

90 here taking the shoes off coops are clean.
Brought zucchini from the garden tonight we will fry it.
I did take ice to all coops.
Take a break then do the mower.

We got the awning installed on the trailer and I only broke one part! It works without the part I broke so no problem.

They ate lunch on the way down, so the ham was all mine. But when they got hungry later on I fed them some of my homemade peach jam on bread. And I mixed some of the Oregon grape jam I made in water to make a "unique" fruit drink for them.

I am beat after working on that awning. I'll sleep good tonight if I don't ache too bad.
