It started snowing here at 8:10pm,

I really am not ready. I had one last thing to get done outside. I wanted to get 9 brace brackets and 9 8foot 2X4's and add extra support to my run.

I would not be ready for snow either!!! Hope it remains a light dusting for you.

That's nice of you PennyJo, but no thanks. I'm down to 5 hens now, and that's about 2 too many for me. I guess that new poodledog is wearing you out. LOL

Mocha is pretty easy keeper, Pugs is wearing each other out.
I will take them to auction real soon then.

I'm changing the oil in my generator and getting it ready to run, just in case the bomb cyclone knocks out the electrical power. Need to go buy a few gallons of gas too.

We have a few gas cans better look at them ourselves.
We rarely see snow here I kinda like that.

Plenty of gas here and the generator is mostly full. Have had to use it twice recently

Our generator has kicked in twice already this year. Two outages two mornings in a row last week. They only lasted an hour each, but still nice to have a generator to keep the lights on and the freezers running.

Yeah, the power goes out here 2 or 3 times a year, usually because of wind events. My generator is small, providing around 15 amps of 120 volt power, enough to run a space heater, the tv, and to keep the fridge and freezer cold if needed.

We don’t use a generator, I have a wood cook stove, plenty lanterns.
I do fill up all my water jugs, 3 stainless steel coffee pots, a berky, extra chicken 5 gal water jug, etc….
Pregrind some coffee, and keep the cell phones charged.
