Hello Washington! How is everyone doing? Been pretty quiet on here lately. Anyone heard anything from @Smokerbill? Haven't seen him in a while. Hope all is well with him.

Should get up to 49 today, so I hope to get out and change out the straw in the coops again. They've retreated into their coops during the rain, so spending too much time in there means more frequent cleaning. When they only go in at night, all we have to do is clean the sand box daily and it all stays pretty nice. But little hens wandering around in there all day is a different story.

James and I he is my left hand I am his.
We made feeder of plywood his Dad and I.
That feeder is still in use 10 years ago, elevated on four cinder blocks.
I painted the two tables and boards gave them and easier for me to clean.

Does anyone within 50 miles of Seattle know where I can find vet that will do a Deslorelin implant or Lupron injection? Our vet just retired and I've called about 10 other avian vets and no one will do them anymore!

I have not found a vet in Washington that treats chickens, if that's what you are asking. I do not know what a Deslorelin Implant is. Sorry.

They are both hormone therapies - treatments for reproductive issues. They will temporary shut down the reproductive system.
I have a few Avian vets in the area. Just no one will provide these hormone injections/implants anymore.

I've never needed an avian vet, but I'm pretty sure the veterinarian in Winlock treats chickens, but I'm not sure about the Desloresin.
