Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

He has 14 years on me I know one day he will make a widow but right now now ready for that.
grab a cup of coffee::: I know this is a lot but it is what is on my heart,,☕☕☕☕☕☕

May 1st we went to the ER, DH couldn't pee for 16hours, by the time they catharized him it was 19. He has Metastatic prostate cancer, its in 6 different spots in the pelvis bone, right hip and right fumier neck, pelvic lymph system. Most likely he has had this for the last 10yr's.
He is not going to do chemo or radiation
He has though, been doing absolutely everything naturopathic, he exercises, we have radically changer our diet.
He did have a TURP surgery in Aug which did great and he didnt need the catheter after that. He says he feels fine.
but he also has heart failure, a 4.7 thoracic aneurism, is now on Lasix and BP meds.

We are never ready for these things, I do know, getting everything in order is a huge stress relief. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, anyone of us can wake up and find we have had a stroke, we can randomly be in an auto accident ect. I cant watch the news anymore its like Guns & Roses, welcome to the jungle 🤯
Shit happens brothers & sisters, we never want this day to come, none of us do. so while we are able we need to answer all of the ,,,
what if_____this what do I do about______this? as much as we can.
These last 8 months I have had to ready myself, and be strong for my 4 adult children and 12 grandchildren.
I know I can do everything that is needed to be done on the property and in the house.

but, my best friend and DH of 43yr is dyeing, there is no cure for this and I am going to be a widow. I often cry and cant breath,,,
Everyone believes something,
this is what I stand on,
I will grieve everyday, but I know at the moment the "tent/ shell
' dies believers are in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 Corinthians 5:8 / 1 Thessalonians 4:13

I do so love you all and so enjoy our Wa state web friendship

Penny, you have had a rough haul, and I am praying for dear Richard and you 💕

Wow, @Grandmas Coop . That is a lot for you to take in and live with. I think about things like that all the time too. In fact, I'd like to move out of the country and already be settled into a house in a retirement community. That would make the transition so much easier. My DH is not currently in bad health, but like you say, we just never know. And also like you say, for believers, to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord. So death isn't so bad for the dying, it's bad for the living. I'm glad you have children and grandchildren to be a comfort to you when the time comes.

Big hugs and many prayers for you!!! :hugs 🙏
