Snow is not gone crunchy but warmer ?

Not gone here, but going for sure. Happy about that. It caught me by surprise this year. I should pay more attention to the weather. It's 33 now, but I think it will get up to 40 today.

Quite a bit still left here, but it's starting to melt. It's going to be pretty warm the next week or so.

My chickens are dumb. They think snow is a treat and eat it.

I moved some plants to the front window sill this morning. I'm starting more seeds next week and need to make space under the grow lights. Kale, collards, cabbage, etc.

Lots of chickens eat snow in the winter. It is very fresh water for them.

My silkies eat it but think it's lava to step on

Mine actually don't eat it and don't come out in it at all unless we put straw down. Then they'll come out and walk on, scratch through the straw, but that's it. Here is straw day a few years ago.

Hey good Morning layed scratch filled the feeders and water buckets.
Picked DH up he is lot's better.
Had to hose Mochas feet pure mud.
He is so easy that way, He is turning into a big boy.
