We went to Morton We bought me original english muffins fresh hotdog buns our where stale.
Potato salad german style I get to be lazy for dinner.
bought a cantaloupe also.

It finally happened. One of my cockerels started crowing this morning, or at least tried to.

He crowed for 5 or 10 minutes this morning again, first time since Wednesday morning. It's still sounding a little like a howling dog, but I think it was a little more melodic than last time. I'm guessing it was the dominant cockerel but I don't really know. It could have been one of the other two.

It was nice getting that little bit of rain overnight, probably a tenth of an inch or so. Enough to wet the plants but not enough to soak into the ground.

Ya my pair is now quiet since I opened the coop.
Wet here Mocha was all muddy so hose him then blow dry.
I have to say he is so easy accepting all of this.
Still a bit drizzly here.

I washed off the front of the house, so now all four sides are clean. I still need to do some caulking, minor repairs, and replace the trim around one of the windows then it'll be painting time.

My airless sprayer is all cleaned up, unclogged and ready to go. I bought a new spray tip and filter screen for the spray gun. After prepping and masking the windows and skirting painting the house main color should be a one day job.

Im a nerd. I have a fanfiction story I really need to get another chapter out on now that people know I'm alive still. I'll do that since my brain finally has it mapped out. It was too busy mapping future chapters for a few months. Only an 8 year gap between the last 2 chapters

I guess I do need to pick tomatoes again tomorrow and start canning salsa, so I'll have plenty to do.
