Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

LOL! I didn't know until Jess called me! If Jess hadn't called me, I probably would have completely missed it.

How exciting your mom gets to visit Renee!
I just did a HUGE cleanout of the kids' rooms. They have nothing left. They helped, and kept tossing stuff in the "get rid of" bag, and even more stuff in the trash bag! I don't mind. They're getting good stuff for Christmas. We're VERY minimalist though. We don't allow a lot of toys in the house 1) to reduce clutter in a small upstairs and 2) to encourage them to use their imaginations most of the time. If it has batteries, whenever those die we don't replace them.

Maybe you could just go through her stuff while she's at school and get rid of half of it? She'd probably never notice! My kids never notice when things go missing. Basically the rule is that if it goes longer than a couple months unplayed with, I toss it while they're busy playing elsewhere.

All right.... I gotta go - too much to do.

Before I head out - I wanted to share how much I absolutely LOVE having 5 birds free-ranging in my back yard. The big girls are slowly beginning to accept Latte and Blackie. I've only seen Caunnie chase them one time this morning.

And the littles are doing great. I've got to get them off paper towels, though. Dust-bathing in paper towel doesn't work so great - but it sure is funny to watch! They keep trying!

I gave my 4 quarantined hens a dishpan with dust in it and they were so funny to watch.

Halle (Clearly #1) plopped herself down in it and refused to move. Rosie and Cocoa (Fighting to be #2 and #3) were trying desperately to squeeze in beside her. Rosie finally sat down on top of Halle, and Halle let her so that she wouldn't lose her spot. Sad, but still funny.

I am beyond ****** off. I almost have no words. I have to clean the kitchen now because I basicly went in and threw a fit throwing stuff evety where.
