Last minute meet-up!

A couple of us (well, RonB, dawng and HoneysuckleHills to be precise) are meeting at the Woodinville Panera's for dinner tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 6:00.

I got my first silkie egg today. It is so small next to my RIR eggs, but for them to be only 9 months old I am very happy.

Noobie question here.... Does the temp if the incubator determine gender?

A lower temperature will keep chicks from over heating and dieing. Sadly the females are more heat sensitive and fail to hatch if they get to hot leaving you with more males then female. If you run it low you get equal to more females then males. Also your rooster makes a HUGE difference. In the past I had a rooster that created mostly pullets. I was hatching 40 eggs at a time and only ending up with 2 or 3 roosters in 100% hatches. He disappeared years ago I miss him.

So the incu temp mostly affects boy/girl ratio through chick motality, not by determining the gender of each individual chick?

I'm wondering if Klondike is not a Bantam like I was told... I'm thing maybe a LF? I have no clue, but his legs are still really long. If he is a LF, he is going to have to find a new home. Here are some pics:
