I heard about Mine Craft at MOPSNext last week. Gonna have to look into it for the kids. They want to play my farm game and I won't let them touch it. I haven't figured out how to set up a Hay Day account for them.![]()

My family used to "collect" them. My brother and father both drove them when I was growing up. Lot of fun (we had Isettas).

We've also done a lot of these and they're great! My own science teach did #2; he stood on the book that the eggs were holding up!! http://www.everythingesl.net/lessons/egg_experiments.php
Renee, what about the one where you suck a hard boiled egg into a bottle?Next weekend we're having my son's birthday party on hatch day. The party theme is the "Wacky World of Science".Fingers crossed we have hatching chicks during the party. Any one have ideas for fun experiments we could do with non-hatching eggs? I'm trying to come up with different science experiments for the kids to do during the party.![]()
Quote: Last year one both of my DD's asked for Easy Bake Ovens for Christmas, My Grandmother came up with the idea to buy them a baking gift bag for the both of them. Cup cake tins measuring cups, spatulas and many other things as well as boxes of cookie and cake mixes. All the stuff she bought had some sort of kids theme or matching colors, and I went to the craft store and bout them blank colored aprons so that they could decorate their own aprons too. They loved it and still do.

I've been falling behind lately too. It's hard to keep up sometimes, we get so busy and then when I do grab the computer and come for a visit I've got over an hour of reading to do!! Lol.
Jess, sounds like you had a fun but busy weekend with all the extra kids!
Ren, congrats on your son's test scores! Wow, that's awesome!! I hope everything works out with the school you want to keep him in, I know all about that! Our kids didn't go to the school they were supposed to go to either when we first moved here. Now that we've moved into our own home, it put us in the correct zone for the school we had them choiced/waived into so it worked out well. I hope it does for you guys too.
