Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

These are my 4 EE's a few days after I got them in June. Figure hatch date about the 17th. They sure have changed in a short time. I now get several blue/green and one pink egg a day.

I have them here. She is on her way home. I got a Blue or Black, she couldn't really tell, a Partridge, a Paint and a Buff or light Partridge. They are stinking cute. And I hope one is a boy. Marge is so tiny and hilarious.

JennS, Marge does not use roosts at all. Her breeding pens have a 12" high barrier separating them, she said they never jump pens.

Remember when I told y'all about putting a tub of dirt in the girls pen for a dust bath? I didn't know if they were going to accept it and venture in for some dirty fun. Well today my DH came in laughing his pants off... Said there was a little PROBLEM... Made me follow him up to the coop. So there's my Barnie digging in the wet sand in front of the tub........ and a lovely dark brown egg sitting pretty inside the tub!!!! Yup they got in the tub today!!!

I took the lid off. Let's see what happens next. Sheesh.

Bantam haters! I love my Bantams. How can you people not like them?!?! Whatever. And Bantams are "ugly"? How can Bantams be ugly? They look the same as their LF counterparts... Now I will share pictures of my "ugly" Bantams.

Now what do y'all think of Bantams?

I think they are all cute and can not make up my mind on what to get next.

Looks like the rain and dreary days are getting to us. Just remember, it is only a few months away from these beautiful weeds. Spring will come again.
