I was just reading on a thread about low egg production. People wanting to know why ??  One person in Florida said they have Australorps that lay white eggs :cd   I've never heard of Australorps laying white eggs   Have any of you  ????  might have to get me a couple of those :yiipchick

 I was given 25 (18 count) egg cartoons by a friend. I have lots and don't need them. anybody want them  ????

Check into getting registered as a "farm".  You don't need a business license (because you have that farm thingie)   You get similar tax write offs, as well as being able to purchase wholesale.   I think it would be worth checking into.

So, for the first time since the last week in October, I got three eggs from each of the three Hamburgs today (and one from their rose-combed daughter, who's been laying for over a month now).

Yup, Hamburgs are the best, no doubt about it.

I would suspect it was a mink. I have them in my forest. My cat loves to catch them. You need to patch that hole.
