Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Upstairs in the loft, dormer to the left, green tub is where the window seat will be............

Building Inspector just left & he was very impressed with the super strength of this whole build.
Big window is in the master bedroom & looks out over the "compound" (Coops & garden)

Master Bedroom again...and the little Gambrel Trusses leaning against the wall are for the dormer...cute, huh ?
I mentioned to Einstein that we will have to make a dog house (like the dormer truss) to match this barn home, and he just GLARED AT ME !!!! LOL !!!

We could re-do all the coops to match too !!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, you sure build your chickens a nice coop! Just kidding. How exciting!

I better get off BYC...I have already found myself deep in the heart of the breeders' forums drooling over Scots Dumpy...........oh I never have enough coops !

Quilt is going great...I have about 8 blocks to go.
Was waiting on Jo-anne.com shipment of pastelly-orange fabrics which I see just arrived.so...............
Off to finish the quilt top I go.
I am not sure I want to attempt the "Divide & Conquer" this time, or send it out to have it long armed....hmmmmmmmmmmm?
Maybe this large crib quilt would be just the right size (small) to attenpt the first Divide & Conquer ???

Me is thinking now.....

That looks awesome!

Nice and tough. And the gambrel roofs are supposed to be more resistant to wind. I think it looks just great.

Mr Hallerlake suggested I do something useful with my needlepoint; make cushions for the four Federal chairs. People were smaller so the chairs are pretty low. Seat cushions will make them more comfortable. I've started the first cushion. It has a thistle pattern, there will also be a rose, an iris, and a daffodil patterned cushion. The tricky part will be the making of the cushions themselves, especially since I don't have a sewing machine. I'm adapting motifs from this pattern. Several will go very well with both Federal and Arts and Crafts style.

Yes but I still loved my little goats. I am very certain that if a goat could steal your car keys, that the goat would drive to the nearest biker bar and tip the bikes over, then tell the bikers where you live. Even knowing this, I still love goats. :gig

This, exactly: I have known many goats, and, like at least one of my uncles, they had dangerous senses of humor.

Hey, the barnhouse is looking great!

My big crafty accomplishment this year is that I've finished and delivered four stitch-marker/ stitchholder sets, with another just needing set on splitrings and mailed out and two in intermediate stages.
