Say.... did any of you see the news story last night on KOMO 4 about the bus driver that's also an aerialist/acrobat??? Link to video

I've seen him perform, last weekend in fact. He's a friend of my daughter. He is SO good. Too bad the news clip doesn't show more of what he does. If anyone is going to the Boat Show, be sure to make time to watch him!

Yes I saw it. Always nice to see one of my students recognized. Yup I taught him well.!!

Too pretty to eat!!! Not to mention it took DAYS to get this many. Guess I really did need the supplemental light, doh!
Jess.... who lays that pretty blue egg (breed & color)? Gorgeous assortment!
She's just an EE! Got her from Seattle Farm Supply, and he orders his "Ameraucanas" from Cackle Hatchery. They are mostly white with some tan, maybe they're in one of the flock pics I posted earlier.

I have read that not only is the blue gene attached closely with the pea comb gene, but the lighter color on the bird(whiter vs. darker) the more blue the eggs are.

That makes SO much sense!! I have 5EEs. 4 of them have pea combs, one has a tiny straight comb. The only straight combed one lays a green egg. Another pea comb was crossed with a Marans so her egg is olive. The 3 remaining birds are the 2 whitish EEs with pea combs and the blue EE with pea comb, and their eggs are bright blue!

Miss Jessica!!!! I hope yer plannin oncoming down I know ya have a chauffeur. If ya don't come down well yer gonna be in for a BIG surprise!!!!
