Food stuff
So, me too with Himself - we don't usually do gifts etc. So, I'm going to make a fantabulous scrumdiddlyumptious cake. Although, I do have to be very careful about eating it myself, since I'm on a pretty strict diet. I'm thinking Coconut/pineapple/rum with glace cherries and whipped cream.
Like this
only I'm going to try a heart shaped one!
And just think...
...with the cayenne and ACV you'll lay better and have no worms.![]()
Thanks!I may not agree 100% with you, but it's all good. And yes, sometimes one has to rant and if you can't rant amongst us where could you?

I'm not sure, but those foods in Europe and the UK may not have the same regs applied to them. Perhaps many of them DO have ingredients the same as we do, but maybe the companies don't have to list them. Turned out HRH Prince Charles company selling organic foods had ingredients in them that were simply awful. It took a lot of sleuthing for someone to expose it.Ugh! I'm sick of FB people being so uninformed. You can't argue with a list of ingredients right in front of your face, showing LESS chemicals in packaged food in Europe vs. here. Read this article, seriously, worth your time.

I had someone comment that people can always just choose healthier foods if they want. Erm...not really. Here was my response:
Not really Natalie, that's what most people don't understand. Even the "fresh" produce one buys at the grocery store is poisoned with chemicals. Our grocery store commercial meat is killed in disgusting, unclean ways and then "washed" in bleach and chemicals; not to mention the antibiotics that are making many people sick. Our eggs are "cleaned" in bleach instead of relying on the way God designed a chicken to deposit a protective coating on their eggs and leaving them unwashed. Our corn is 95% genetically modified (in the US) and that is why so many people are reacting allergically to corn these days and getting sick from something as simple as corn on the cob.
BOO, I hate people! Not really, but sometimes a girl's gotta rant, right?![]()
You got it! Properly cleaning and cooking fresh food is not rocket science, and can go a long way in reducing allergies in a lot of people. All the allergies that people are coming up with in the last 40-50 years you can thank additives, food coloring, and chemicals both in the fields and in the air you breath & water you drink in the suburbs.
