Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

On his first trip to New York City, Yoda thought the Statue of Liberty was quite something....

But he wasn't quite sure what to think of Ellis Island, being an alien and all.....

He thought the ice rink at Rockefeller Center was very pretty, but way too cold....

Much warmer it is, having the Times Square New Year's Eve ball indoors this time of year! .....

Thank you ! !!!

I guess I better go get some work done......last night, with red lens flash lights, Einstein & I seperated all the breeds into their own coops.
So now, all the Blue Copper Marans have their own coop, all Cuckoo Marans in their own coop, and Javas in their coop...and all the Jersey Giants are in their coop..............so none left to separate but the Leghorns, and they be too young yet & still in the brooder.

Glad that's done !

Later Peeps !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a new addiction.
I confess.
I have dabbled for years with Bonsai without getting serious or reading up on much.
But
This year, I have so many big leaf maples, red laced maples and assorted other trees in small pots (a few hazel nuts & juniper) I am going to give it a serious try....like in my spare time !

Usually I "do" the trees, plant them nicely and then ignore them until they grow big again.
I have to train myself to keep after them I guess.
Anyone else here "do" Bonsai ??????????????

:)

Actually, most of my present Bonsai will be in plastic "training pots" before they can graduate into the nice Bonsai trays, so it will be a while ! Sounds like you will not be able to make it to the show either ?

I I have done Bonsai in the past. My best one was stolen off my porch-must have been really nice. Then I murdered a bunch of trees. Now I am just crazy busy and can't think about it. Carol
