FINALLY the girls are starting to lay again! 6 eggs a day for the past 3 days and 8 eggs today!!!!

FINALLY the girls are starting to lay again! 6 eggs a day for the past 3 days and 8 eggs today!!!!

I have gotten 5 yesterday and today from 7 layers. I think Peep(EE) is laying a pink/brown egg, I have had some colors I don't recognize showing up every couple of days now. Her vent is open enough now for eggs. Just haven't caught her in a nest yet. Elphaba(EE) keeps laying shell less eggs on the roost, ugh

I just ask cause usually i go to dels farm supply, and all the dels farm supply stores i've been to i've got bad service, had to demand service.   Then when I go back to get the bag of feed I often end up finding it myself and loading it myself because there are no workers in the back.    When I go get feed I don't like it being an all day thing.  

If i waited for employees at dels it would be show up when they open and maybe get out of there by the time they close.    *sigh*    I guess I don't look farmer enough for them.  

What one did you go to? The Buckley and Enumclaw ones are really good people.

Thanks so much.. Chickens really have been a learning experience. One thing we have learned thus far... Polish and rainy Washington are a cruddy mix! So alas we have given the ladies crop jobs, and wont be letting any more breed. On to other fatter better layers.

OK I can top that one, try your heal.

Then it worked so well I tore everything in my foot and had to be off it for almost 6 months.. But hay it fixed it..
