Ok. Pic from yesterday that my stupid phone didn't want to upload. Mama silkie took the chicks out in the grass. Hitler and his son Stalin (not their real names, how they act) make sure EVERYONE stays in a group.




The blue silkie rooster there got into a fight with my wheaten ameraucana rooster Friday, and they've been trying to get to each other since. I separated off the ameraucana the first time and they both ran towards each other to fight again. Had to take the silkie to clean him up the second time. No third time because I locked up the silkie and started using the spray bottle if they tried to threaten each other. I guess spring is in the air and they are getting even more territorial.

I could not find this sauce anywhere in QFC So I am making my own sauce, it isn't hard but I really wanted something easy. Where do you buy the sauce CR?

OK for those wondering about putting chicks under a hen. The 2 little Silkies I got from Kim (what was I thinking) are not ready to be totally off the light yet. I put a light in but it is high so it barely gets warm on the floor. But not to worry see I put Silkiebator in with them. I just did a final check and she has them pushed back in a corner and is trying to cover them.

Not saying this will work for others but it just shows it can work.


And just because the Sweet-n-Sour Roadkill seems so popular. Against my (lack of) better judgement. I am going to let the secret out. Now I suppose I will have to figure out something new for future gatherings!

OK so I use meatballs, smoked sausage chunks (like Kielbasa), little smokies and the TOP SECRET ITEM is .......... no no no I can't do it I can't tell.
OK OK OK ya talked me into it.

I got one of my dwarf bare root Brown Turkey Fig Trees today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will keep it dwarf as well......................and in the sun room during winter~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cannot remember the other fig I ordered................it was sooooooooooooooooo long ago hat I ordered it...

We used to make the meat balls & little smokies and put in a crock pot with a can of cranberry sauce, and a bottle of Heinz Chili sauce.............VERY GOOD !!
