I could not find this sauce anywhere in QFC So I am making my own sauce, it isn't hard but I really wanted something easy. Where do you buy the sauce CR?

I know the show was Saturday -- but I used Sunday as ketchup day around the house, so wasn't online much.. I missed seeing a lot of people this time around and when I did see someone it was on the fly. boohoo. Maybe PNPA will be a little more relaxed for me. The serama stuff kept me waaay to busy. lol!

But i DID catch a small visit with THi and Blueducklings(thank you for the soup!!) It was nice to see Daffy and her mamma too.

THANK YOU KMHunter for offering food to those that needed to be fed It was very much appreciated.

Anyway--off n running again.

Well, I'm sorry I missed the show, but with only one income currently and lots of grandkids needing one on one attention, it just wasn't in the cards to make down south. Hope all who did had a great time. AT the same time, we have things to do and land to claim since the previous owner only went the easy way and had someone else log out parts of it. So, making Hugalkultur garden mounds with the rubble from the"land clearing years ago" and with the goats help, we'll make pastures out of the place one day. Not big, but something the chickens and goats and the horse will enjoy.

Had ducklings start hatching last Thursday or Friday, and first time momma is taking good care of them!

Ok, here's another reason against straw. Just spent half an hour with DH holding the poor pullet while I tried to get the little piece out of the roof of her mouth where it was stuck and tearing her up. She had straw in her carrier, but I don't have straw i the quarantine pen. She'd been trying to cough it out since Saturday and I finally was able to get it. The reward for our work is that she has now decided to eat.



I figured out what my two chicks are. Apparently the 1/4 silkie, 3/4 EE pullet lays blue eggs. Even the yellow chick has very light chipmunk stripes. They also have a tiny bit of fluff on their legs from the silkie leg feathering. So they are 1/2 wheaten ameraucana, 3/8 EE, 1/8 silkie.

I was not expecting a blue egg. Thought one of the cockerels was from the blue egg laying EE.
