ChickAudie- Yep, ya'll got the first and true account. For the most part they got it right, other than we were going for a walk and not coming back from one. The only part that bothers me is that they did not put in there that the driver almost hit our youngest DS Maxx. Patience our youngest DD happened to pull him out of the way in time.

Who does the bills monthly. Sometimes DH just doesn't get the situation until I sit him down and show him in black white and red
just where everything is going. He seems to curb his overspending for a while at least. 45 + yrs married just saying. I aim for smooth sailing.

Holy cow the thread does move fast. Good to know there's more poultry people down here. I'm just getting back into chickens after a few years (mostly) away but have raised domestic poultry since '93. Thanks for the compliment on the dog, that's my Irish Terrier Nigel doing surrogate avatar duty until my chickens get big enough to get an avatar worthy picture HAHA.

Hoping to make the PNPA show to hang out with chicken people again (it's only 5 minutes from the house after all) but major conflict with work might make it difficult.

Normally when things like this happen, the police are required to tell "me" next time call them first and not to try and handle it myself. But when they were here they were all for what I did and told me they felt that the guys were lucky not to leave here full of a few holes.

I am so on the look out for that truck and for the people that were in it. Man, once you are looking for a certain vehicle you really realize how many people own that kind of dang truck!

Oh, hallelujah.
I opened the email I use for craigslist this morning, trying to steel myself for a quick round of "spot the least crazy respondant" and hooray, hooray, hallelujah and huzzah! right there four lines down was somebody I've known his whole life, since he was the baby in a family of younger 4Hers when I was a Junior Leader.

It's enough to make my day even though it has just once again started to pour down rain when I was finished with my morning chores.
