Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

You could try Dr. Bruce Singbiel at Crossroads vet. He is a poultry specialist as well as being a regular vet of all other animals. I don't know if he will do it, but you could ask. The number is 425-746-7387.
thanks so much for the vet info. I'll try him and see if this is something he knows about.

YW... I found it on pinterest a few years ago.... here is the link if you wanna read about it...http://voicerev-sharemyjourney.blogspot.com/2011/10/egg-whites-form-healing-miracle-for.html

And here's another wonderful thing you can do with an egg....
If you have a cut that should be stitched but can't for some reason... crack an egg, peel the membrane from the inside of the egg shell and apply it as a bandage pulling the skin together. When my parents were first married (in the 1940s) my dad got cut over one eye and refused to see a doctor. So mom, being a good country girl, applied the egg membrane and it healed beautifully. I've always thought that was So Cool.

I will try to come to the processing class! Just need a date a good bit in advance. Will bring something yummy just don't know what yet.

Well, I get to start wearing my big girl underwear tomorrow, I'm turning 30

OK I take back all the nice stuff I said about you before! :tongue

So here is my 2 cents on the pet/food discussion................:old

I don't eat duck so therefore I have a wonderful PET duck named Daffy who lives in the house with us and sometimes is known to wear a duck diaper! She is a fabulous house alarm and even reacts faster than the 2 dogs we have! Plus she takes baths in the bath tub just like the dogs do. Oh and she lays eggs that as a bonus we get to eat! The dogs DO NOT do that! So in some cases YES our pets can also provide us with food and yet they themselves do not have to be eaten!

Just sayin........ What may to be normal for some, may not be normal for others. To each their own! We got to name our cows Patty & Burger. And boy those were some yummy tasting pets!:idunno
