Just got back from our date. We went to Naked Pizza at Kent Station and it was so good!!! Then we got a beer at Cal's, ad saw GI Joe II. Came home to this:

Laya wouldn't stay in her box and was apparently feeling so good se wanted out of her box and kept jumping on the counter; the babysitter lined the counter with water bottles and dishes! Hah!

That is funny. How was the movie. We have a few must seen in the theaters this summer, is this one?

It was good! Not as good as the first one but that is always to be expected. It was also kinda short, only 1.5 hrs, so it might do better as a rental...unless you love theater movies like we do, then definitely go see it!

Ohhhh, those are all so adorable! I want them ALL! But only for about 2 days, so I can soak in the cuteness!!!!
My BSL is my favorite hen, so friendly and reliable.

I might suggest after you have this issue under control to raise her protein level(tuna) and several warm baths when the weather is warmer to get her ready to moult.This will help with cage birds so you might give it a try with her. Also you asked what else to try for the scratch, try cinnamon or honey or mix to get it to stick.

I'll keep that in mind. I haven't heard about the warm bath technique for chickens. And I always have cinnamon on hand, so that's good too. Thanks.

Happy Birthday! I think I've figured out this thread. I'm new here and I'm exploring, I love my chickens... I haven't had any in many years and this week end my granddaughter DH and kido's are bringing me four pullits, a small coop for the back yard and feed. I'm jumping up and down (inside).

Well, having coffee with my DH this morning, I heard the most pathetic little crow come from the coop. I paused, thinking that maybe something was wrong with Sirius, then he crowed too. Flo-Jo is definitely a he. So, I guess his new name will be Foghorn.
