Stole it from yer drive way?? Mad would not explain ti for me. I would be going on a hunting trip. Since there are so many of us out here maybe if you share info about the car. We might be able to help by being on the look out for it.

SO sorry that you have become a victim of these scum bags.

We went through that same decision-making process recently, too. I'll share what we discovered.

First, a couple issues back, "Chickens" magazine had an article on this very subject. I wonder if you could find it online. It discussed not only what breeds tend to do well with chickens, but also how to train your dog to behave well.

We specifically avoided sporting breeds and hounds, due to their hunting heritage. We ruled out terriers, well, because I don't like terriers. We settled on a herding breed, as they tend to have an inborn feeling of responsibility. I grew up with shelties, who were excellent caretakers for our flock of rabbits. After much conversation, our family settled on a cardigan Welsh corgi.

We got our girl 2 months ago just before she turned a year old. We intended to do everything right, introducing her to The Girls gradually, etc., but it didn't work out that way. Her 4th day in our house, my 5 year old let her into the yard when the chickens were free-ranging. We panicked, but unnecessarily. Maddie is a herding dog from her enormous ears down to the tip of her wagging tail, even with no training. She immediately went into herd behavior, circled the flock. Okay, so the birds were terrified, but she showed no aggression. Now I take her out when I want the chickens in the coop, and I say, "Herd the chickens, Maddie!" and she gets them all into the coop.

Considering neither she nor I have ANY herding experience, I find all this pretty amazing. This summer I'm signing us up for herding lessons, because it seems a shame to waste her talent.

Anyway, happy hunting! I love having a dog, and even though we did everything about 75% wrong, it has worked out well. Here's our Maddie-girl!

Very cool pic!!!! Those two look Happy, Happy, Happy!!!

My baby boy turns 3 today! 3 years ago on this day I woke up in my own bed with my baby boy to snuggle, he was born in the middle of the night at home in that very same bed. He has taught me that everything i ever knew about parenting the first 2 children was wrong, he is perfectly sweet and agreeable, amazingly strong willed and contrary, hilarious, infuriating, loving, and fun all at the same time. I thank God for such a wonderful gift whom I get to learn from daily. Today we will visit the ophthalmologist, get haircuts, make a piñata cake, have pancakes for dinner, and spoil the boy rotten with everything Ninja Turtles. Hope everyone else has a great day too!

I had a cat that ate photographs. They could be inside an envelope or in a purse and he could smell them, dig them out, and chew them up.

One of my current cats is a string eater. We have spent about $3000 saving his life and my husband said after the last time never again :( So I am being super careful! He ate fishing line the first time, probably 12 feet of it, and the second time he pulled many many yards of thread off of my sewing machine. It was wrapped around his tongue and the ends were out his hiney. It was bad.

Crazy cats.
DH had a big super fat Tuxedo cat named Moped...cuz of his motor.
This cat ate everything & was really overweight.
His favorite thing was plastic (like the bread wrapper) and tinsil off the X-mas tree...which would be around his mouth and out his hiney, and would scare him so bad that some monster was chasing him !
