Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Goodness!! They are so cute. I saw a JG for the first time when I got my silkie roo. They are huge!! The lady's rooster stood as high as my knee.
The only time I ever saw them was at the Monroe show. I got these eggs from CL. I am hoping they are girls. My daughter loves the splash coloring and I am hoping the other one is a blue...

OK, new update. I asked the DH to check on the girls since it's the first night they are out in the pen. He sent me a text back saying the girls are back inside in the crate as he's concerned about the bottom of the pen not having fencing and rocks, and he thinks it will be too cold in the morning for them. He's so adorable. He's been fighting me on getting 5 of them, and here he is babying them more than I do.

How cute is that????

Quote: Trampolines also make a great greenhouse for your lawn. My mom moves hers each time she mows and has a super green lawn all summer long. So, your tramp-o-tractor could serve dual purposes.

I didn't turn the heat lamp on last night, because it has been mild here. We got a hard frost overnight, so I was worried when I went out this morning. The littles are only 4 weeks, but they did fine. I have been turning it off during the day for the last week and a half, but this was the first time that I did not turn it on for the night. The bigger chicks let the littles snuggle up to them though, as does Sirius the roo.

I caught mine out there baby talking them tonight. I just looked at him. He seems to really like the little frizzle and Hermione is such a nosy little thing that you can't help but love her.
