Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Yeah, I guess I just have to wait and see. The legs have a gray tinge too.

So fun to figure them out, but 9 times outta 10, they are cockerels, and of this shape, I am thinking polish.

We have a few as well. Last year, in our cedar tree, too high up to reach them, but I don't see them up there this year. This year, they're reachable at the shoulder level, and like you, thought the chickens would just LOVE them! They turned their nose up at them and looked at like we were crazy.

I've heard that WA is having real issues with them and they will decimate a forest (although not always permanently). Just kill all the leaves on the trees for that year. Still, I say burn 'em!!
IN A CEDAR ?????????????????????????????????

I like globby paintings, I'm not confident enough to make them, my chicken painting is rather flat ;0

Oils are also cool and daunting both! I feel like I need a class before I try them?
No go for it ! And then you can take a class.
I have never taken an art class ever in my life, even in HS we did normal art, no oil or water color paintings.
I started with drawing, horses horses horses, and then pen & ink, and then water color & oils.
I do 2 kinds of water color, 1 is the wishy washy water color:

Like this one. It takes about 10 minutes to do, once calculated out.
Then there is the glazing water color, which takes months, and every hair is painted on every animal:
And these are all very big paintings, on 300# rag, Aquarelle.

And then I haul off & paint the crazy globby oil paintings ! Crazy !!!
Maybe my soul needs to "let go" once in a while !

I have comfrey from Hinotori, and it is beautiful ! But yet just a single plant, do you need some ?
I need more mint, any flavour !

I only have pure peppermint, and it is small and not very happy. We will trade next year for sure if not before! ALL my plants are less than happy. This cold spell, and wet, after all that warmth has half of them dropping or yellowing leaves. Grrr
