Whew, that was quite a storm! I'm just glad we didn't float away, and we live on a mountain

My girls are definitely happy too. They also somehow found a dryish spot for some dust bathing yesterday. During all the wind and rain my BO Peepers kept yelling at me (BAWK! BAWK! BAWK!) as if it was my fault and I should knock it off. Chickens are funny

I have heard of locking down your badly messed up air cell eggs , air cell up in a egg carton rather than laying them on their sides.
Reason is the baby knows UP is where the air is, and helps them find air.
I have done that before

That makes a lot of sense. They're in the egg carton in the 'bator now. I can hear some peeping! It's only day 19 though so I'd like it if they could wait a bit.

Was looking to see if anyone had a black australorp rooster they were willing to part with. I could trade you for my buff orpington rooster, he is a great rooster to the hens, but mean to my kids. I have heard from many people that Black Australop roosters are the only ones to get with kids. Thanks

Does anyone know of any show quality silkie, polish or chantecler breeders in western washington? I went to the feather fancier show this weekend and i only saw silkie roos for sale and no for sale representatives of the other 2 breeds. I have a classified ad in the buy/sell/trade section. Thank you!
