She might be a cross. It's hard to tell in that position. Here's a pic of mine:

The bantam Orps are really round, more so than the LF

Wow I just read up on Buckeyes here on BYC. Do they really mouse better than cats?! That would be a good breed for those that have to deal with mice/rats?
No. They do not mouse better than cats.
But most large fowl chickens DO go after mousies...and snakes, too.
I had Buckeyes for quite a while, and sold my stock to a few folks local and a friend over in Outlook, WA. and another in Hermiston, OR.

My barred Rocks love catching mice.
I saw (2 summers ago) a flock of about 25 Marans going ape over something in the grass...then they played chicken-tag with whatever it was, turned out to be a very unlucky garter snake about 12" long...after the hens had taking turns stealing it from each other for about 15 minutes, one hen grabbed it, tossed it up in the air & swallowed it down like a big piece of spaghetti.
Yup.
They love snakes, and frogs & sally-manders too!

It would be more fun to get them from a local breeder. They usually have healthier, better quality chicks. You might even find some neat breeds you hadn't considered before.
Another really good reason to get chicks from a breeder, is that the birds are likely to be more acclimated to the weather here, AND hopefully be raised with more illness immunity, instead of hatchery birds raised on antibiotics.
If you do buy from a hatchery, make sure to have your chicks vaccinated for Marek's and ILT if possible.

One of the weird parts about hatching this time of year is the wacky mean humidity !
Hard to keep the bator at 60% when it is 90% mean humidity outside.

So far, 2 of 4 have hatched...one is zipping...humidity has been going up for 2 days.......................

Sometimes I think we could do a full 21 day incubation (this time of year) without any water reservoir in the incubator at all !
oh well...I knew full well what was in store for me hatching this time of year...................
