Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

My neighbor just told me that the people that moved in across the alley are throwing rocks at my chickens. Well, the kids are anyway. That makes me so mad, they better hope I never catch them doing it.
You own your property yes? Who the heck do you have neighbors ?
We are at home depot at least three times a week sometimes.

Yeah, I own my house. And they just bought that one. I can't make two batches of a stink because I let my chickens free range in my fenced backyard. Not supposed to do that. So unless they keep it up I'm not gonna say anything to the cops.

see I understand I cannot allow mine to free range here because of our dogs

I wouldn't give one or the other up but means chickens stay in their run

I like the fact that they can free range though. I don't know, we'll see how it goes. I'll ask my neighbors to keep an eye out and report if they keep doing it.

Just counted on the calendar, they are 19 weeks old.

Their moms all started laying at a 19 to 22 weeks, so you should start to see some blue/green eggs soon.
it was kinda cute she seemed to be copying the song my barred sing
not sure if she decided where to lay though

Penny, good luck with egg hunting! I had some that were so surprised by their first eggs they layed them right in the middle of the run. Same bird a year later; I couldn't figure out where her eggs were. Eventually I figured out that she had found a notch and was laying along the rafter. The 'egg eater' I had been pursuing was nonexistent, it was just her eggs falling from above and smashing on the floor. Ahh, fun times...
