I read a post somewhere that the person thought they had a rooster, a black australorp. It looked and acted like a rooster. Until one day it laid an egg. So I would wait until you're absolutely sure before you make any decisions on dinner :)

That last one pictured is definitely a pullet, she was always a very feisty one. Tried to escape her brooder, every chance she got. I'm not surprised that she's fighting with the boys at all. You got the two silver penciled girls, a solid black, and 3 barred chicks (1 single comb without muffs, 1 single comb with muffs, and 1 with a pea comb can't remember if she had muffs or not) from me. I'm happy to know I got the sexing right, but sorry that the Olive Egger folks gave you a few boys. I might have to set some of my fall chicks aside for you...

Quote: 12 weeks old. Cute little pullet. I have hopes for showing her when she's grown. Good wings on her (which I've had the most issue with)
I am able to appreciate what you go through with that showing, handling, raising training AKC, Schutzund CKC, CGC, UTC, OTCH
sound mind body allot of the work I did over the years was to that end both in the ring and my work
