Vetwrap is one thing to keep much on hand I am latex
sensitive and use it instead

I would try soaking first. The less invasive the better IMHO. You can alway move to surgery if it doesn't show signs of improvement.

Sounds great I only used rabbit meat in my dog or cat foods
never cared for it myself but know it is the other white meat

Ive successfully passed off rabbit thigh quarters as chicken thigh quarters. It was just fried, nothing fancy. Just a couple friends who thought rabbit would taste funny.

Actually it's my home grown chicken that is usually thought to be something else because it has high flavor and meat texture. No one ever wants to try the silkie meat though, except my hubby. He sees them as just chicken same as me.
