The coop floor is covered in feathers. I feel kind of bad for the girls. Got to love this time of year

iced cabbage and bottled ice water for the girls.. Blue is a true gentlemen
stops and waits for the ladies to have their fill I am taken to giving him last bits by hand
have our snow pup in the air conditioned office all the other dogs are in the house including fear-ah

Good rooster.

My girls are all in the shadey grass or standing in water bowls. The cats keep switching between inside window and outside under my pickup. The dogs are inside with me, but head towards the pond when we go out

yesterday and today we are tipping the mercury at 85 to 90 I who am
always cold am sitting in short pants oversized t-shirt and no shoes or socks

Maybe, maybe not.
However, one of the people I live with has dementia.... So that kind of narrows down the suspects.

I am looking into containers to hold a bunch of feed. The black plastic barrels seem like a good idea. They will be kept in my garage. They seem to come with a couple different lids, a screw on lid and a metal lever lock. Has anybody out there used either type and which would you prefer? I

I use Rubbermaid garbage cans...lids hold down tight & make sure when you buy them, I use a tight bungee over the lid to hold the lid down, we have had hurricane winds blow the lids off & ruin the contents.
