That sounds like a very interesting cross! I found her farm on Facebook and have messaged her! Thank you very much!!

Does anyone know what variety I would get if I bred a paint silkie roo to a blue silkie hen?

Blues have BBS (blue, black, splash) genetics and paints are black leakage in whites (someone can correct me if I am wrong) with whites hiding any color genetics so you have a huge grab bag of potential mixed colors going on in this pairing. According to my understanding of genetics, there are too many potential outcomes that nearly anything is possible. It is why I stick with BBS and don't mix colors but some people like surprises if they are not breeding for show quality.

Sounds right. If I remember correctly, paints are genetically black with one copy of dominant white which allows leakage. Black tends to cover most things.

My guess is there would be paint, black, and blue chicks. Leakage is likely

That is what I was thinking too. Leakage is desirable in paints but leakage in blues is undesirable. I am guessing any hidden color could show up with leakage and that would also be undesirable. My understanding is that paints should not be bred outside of the black/white/paint breeding.
