ood Morning

Below is the USDA official release regarding the detection of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N2 in a wild Mallard duck in Alaska. During a USDA/State teleconference earlier this morning, it was confirmed that this is highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N2 virus is a Eurasian/North American strain. Further details will be released when full sequencing of the virus is completed next week at the USDA NVSL lab. This report represents the first identification of HPAI in the U.S. Pacific flyway since July 2015.
Poultry producers are advised to practice enhanced biosecurity as wild waterfowl commence the southern migration along the Pacific flyway from Alaska. The USDA biosecurity for poultry and FAD Prep documents contain resources for HPAI preparedness.

Sincerely, Lyndon

Yes. Three good nights here now with no stomach pains

Figure out what is the culprit yet ?

Not sure exactly what caused the issue. I was having issues with unshelled pumpkin seeds, commercial bread, and most but not all starches. I actually gained weight over the three weeks because an empty stomach was to painful to deal with. And I went through a lot of Pepto. I was about to give up and book an appointment on this past Monday because the symptoms were mimicking a peptic ulcer. Friday was my worst day by far and Saturday I was nauseous and in pain. So other than the Pepto I had only milk and meat to eat that day since I know those don't cause me issues. Sunday I felt better and added in the veggies I know are safe and didn't need the Pepto. That is what I've been eating all week and I'm feeling fine now. Just ate a bit of french bread. We'll see how this goes tonight.

God was so happy when He finished with His Creation that He said to Adam and Eve, "My children, I want to give each of you a special gift. Adam, what special gift do you want?" Adam said, "I want a pe@is." So it was done, and Adam happily went around peeing on every rock, bush and tree in the Garden of Eden. Eve watched him without comment until God finally turned to her and said, "Eve, my dear, what would you like for your special gift?" She replied, "A brain."

Well now the neighbors must think I torture chickens to death. I picked up a brahma and she struggled and started screaming at the top of her voice. She's not being hurt any, she just doesn't want picked up.

I'd only ever use silkies if the choice was only turn eggs by hand
