Mom went on and on last night over how cool that chair looked for a prop when she saw that picture. It's so rickety I don't even dare ask the smaller dog to get on it. There are multiple screws and nails at each joint. I guess I should take it apart and fix the joints if I'm going to keep it. It would never hold a person, but it does look good for posing. Very rustic.
If the sun hadn't dipped down, I'd have tried again for a clearer shot last night. I'll try it again tonight. With the correct cockerel this time. The darker one looks better. The silkies will stay mostly put where I set them. The large fowl girls will not.
I talked to hubby about making little costumes and dressing up chickens to make a comic last night. The look he gave me...
I still need to try and get Ashes to wear the santa hat on his head for a picture. He's the most calm and would have none of it.

Quote: I bought the 1583 for 105.00 then a set of egg racks and turners
for 52.00 just set it up with 6 2 blue, 2 green, 2 brown
wow nice photos again my little peeps from the incubator are noFound my camera tripod. Yay! Makes life a bit easier. Now have the camera mounted up and ready. Flash and diffuser is on. Full battery and empty memory card.
The more pictures I take, the better they have been getting. And I've been reading my camera book.
Next new back drop will be a gingham covered table and some old wooden juice crates I have. I figure stuff some straw in them with some bail mason jars to make it look like storage. Make a little nest in the straw for some eggs and convince a hen to stand on the edge of a box.
Probably Nutmeg will get to do that one. She's the lightest colored silkie I have. I really need to get me a white pullet.
