Latte
Mocha and latte are just WFC hatchery chicks, but my mom got to get them before they were even set up in the brooders lol. Latte is all white, and mocha is ally darker than the others.

Our new LGD is settling in and the birds are used to her now. Her favorite spot is on the porch to the Orpington coop, which is where they like to hang out before bedtime, and now the chickens will go past her to go in and out of the coop. Yesterday after my husband cleaned the coop and put in fresh shavings, she decided to take a nap in their coop, lol. I called for her because there was a squirrel in the yard and she peeked out from coop door, which is only 1' x 1' since it was originally a window before we converted a playhouse into a coop and added the porch.

She has her own huge house that we were going to convert to a coop but now it is hers. I have a gravity dog feeder in there and she is eating in her house but she got spoiled when my husband let her sleep in the shop and now she sleeps in front of the shop door instead of using her house. Maybe I need to make it into a coop after all so she will use it, lol. I think I will close the front off more and add a dog door so we can put a bed in there for her. The ducks don't use it but the chickens will go into it since it was theirs before we moved them to a smaller coop (there are only 2 EE hens and a Quechua rooster in that pen). The LGD is able to go over a short wood fence separating the yards that the birds don't go over since their wings are clipped.

I absolutely love our new LGD and we are so fortunate to have her. Our older LGD is retired so she lives in the house now but they love to play together so she is spending more time outside again. I might keep her out in warm weather but she had lost weight when we sold her goats and tried keeping her with the horses so we took her in to fatten her up.
