Being fertile does not make it physically different. So there would be no physical reason why you could eat an infertile egg and not a fertile egg. Unless this is a 'moral' issue for you. Then there would be a difference in how you FEEL about eating the eggs. Not that the eggs are actually any different.
In that case the proper wording would by "My GF and I feel that it is morally wrong to eat fertile eggs." Not that you are physically incapable of consuming them.

okay think apples and oranges are happening you both kinda say the same thin but differently
with vernacular there are times my BF and I run into that every now and then until one draws a picture
then we both laugh

Some people legitimately feel that it is morally wrong to eat a fertilized egg. There is no real, physical reason why a person can digest infertile eggs, but not fertile eggs.

It is no different than me saying that my GF and I find oysters inedible. I think they are gritty boogers on the half shell. I know others love to eat oysters, it is a personal preference, not a moral issue.

We can also agree to disagree.

Bottom line, I will not keep a rooster. I will do my best to find it a new home if one of my "pullets" turn out to be one. My neighbors would complain, and I don't want unhappy neighbors. I have lived here since 1989, longer than anyone else in my little development. I was born and raised a suburbanite, and have certain preferences.

This has nothing to do with the previous conversation. I was just cracking some eggs for dinner.

I find this hilarious that the boys are persistent against impossible odds. This is a brahma egg. Those girls are 9 pounds. The roosters in there are 2 pound silkies.

Nice pretty bullseye on the top so it's fertile!
