Check out these cuties.
OMG! I want the brown one on the lower right in the first picture. I have actually thought about getting rabbits. Although I need another animal like hole in the head. I just think they're adorable. I thought about getting a couple, no babies so they would be fixed :) and letting them live in my backyard. I think they could coexist with the chickens pretty well. I would just have to build them their own little rabbit hutch. Do they require much for housing? And food?

The adult size of the rabbit determines how big a hutch you need. 3 ft x 2 ft is a good size for most average sized rabbits. Rabbits should have hay available at all times, and get about 1/4 cup of feed per 4 pounds of weight. I spend about $25 a month on feed, and that's with free feeding pregnant/nursing does and growing kits.
They are about as much work as chickens, maybe less since one rabbit can be perfectly happy on it's own.

I've always heard that rabbits should not be kept alone. Kind of like chickens. That you should have at least a pair.
