Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Havent. Got to plan if we're going to Monroe as well.

I was thinking about taking birds to show, then all the girls decided mud was fun and it damages their feathers when they rub in it. New roofs going up this year. The boys with the hoop roof are perfect. No mud in the pen

@Hinotori .......................Have you contacted @pips&peeps and see if she is bringing chicks or eggs to the Monroe Show ?
She usually does.
I need a few bottles of Marek's vaccine too.
Monroe show March 17 ?? We went last year and I was very impressed. The wife and her sister do the Quilt Show and I hang out with the Chickens all day. Great show with good turn out

I did not tell you to buy from e-bay, and I do not know who you bought from, but I was going to ask you. There are many here on BYC that DO sell on e-bay.
Hopefully it is someone trustworthy.

Hello all! This is my first post in the Washington thread. I'm way up north and way over west. About a mile from Canada and maybe 10 miles from the Pacific.

There sure seem to be a lot of Washingtonians on BYC. I've been watching the new members thread and welcoming people, and it's amazing how many there are from our state. Unless the ones from Washington just jump out at me, but I don't think so. It seems like there a few new ones every day.

There are a lot from Texas, which you might expect. And Georgia and North Carolina. I would have predicted that. But why so many chicken farmers in Washington? Or is it that those that there are in Washington are more likely to be online or join a community?

Welcome !

I think it's because chickens are easily accessible for most people in our state. Most cities allow at least a few hens
