Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Actually even north of that. We're about mile from the Canadian border, maybe 10 miles from the ocean.

Well, we do have a few peeps up your way although I am not sure so far west, some in Bellingham, some in Marysville...........I'll have to think if there are more closer.
Anyways, great to hear you are loving life in the boonies and such a healthy way to raise your family !
Your kids can learn poultry showmanship, even join the FFA or 4-H......they will love it !

Had a ringneck duck on the pond today. Dont see those often. Saw wood ducks once a few years ago.

Normally just mallards, canvasbacks, and buffleheads. No geese when I counted. They came in around dusk

Tons of redwing blackbirds. Few robins, 5 song sparrow, 4 vireo, the two ravens, and a single pine siskin

Hi, that I being from Washington State.. I would love to get to know other Washington breeders that share our love for our feather fiends, I mostly just give away many of my young chicks to good homes. If anyone is interested in sharing love and care for our feather friends, please send me a email. I enjoy meeting new chicken people and look forward to meeting you all! Autumn Farm English Orpingtons! God bless and may all your happiness be joined with feather friends!

My phone messes up the link. I fixed it.

It's for wild birds
I'll try it again.
From where we are, I don't see many expect our year round resident Stellers, crows, ring neck doves and a pair of Ravens. alot of Canadian Geese out in the floodplain across the street.
Saw 2 pair of Rufous- Sided Towhee's yesterday.
In a week or 2 I expect we will see our Band -Tailed Pigeons returning from whereever they go in winter.
And Robins and Varied Thrush soon. We hear the varied Thrush more than we see it, and if you see it you can barely believe your eyes, it is wildly colorful and then POOF GONE.
My very favorite is the Swainson's Thrush.....the song echos through the woods here and is so eerily beautiful.
