It’s better today on the smoke but still here. I went up to Twisp Wednesday wow you talk about smoke could see about 100 yards smoke was thick. That sucks you hade pneumonia smoke must have been real hard on you glad you are getting better. Been canning peaches today looks like around 36 pints from my two little 3 year old trees.

Wow just like it was here couldn't see the hills here in town of course Seattle looked as bad we have great view on the highway of the mountains but with the smoke it was nothing could be seen although it did bring to the front I was not getting air enough

Makes me tempted to breed for wheaten silkies

She's partridge silkie x wheaten ameraucana. Just have to breed carefully back to silkie with the male of the same cross

Err AND with the male. Select for the right color chicks from both. Though I'll probably breed her to him as well

For a bird that can fly, she doesn't do it anymore than the best silkie flyers

My ees and ameraucana like to fly. The pest of a silkie rooster is actually pretty decent for a silkie. He's good at getting on all the roosts.
