Just popping in to say hi! I don’t have anything better to do but be on the computer. Chickens have their heated waterer and clean coop so bring on the second wave of snow! Hopefully everyone is doing well despite this weather.

Looks like 2 inches so far. Everyone is tucked in. We're good even if we lose power.

We have had the stove going all day here nice and warm inside We came out with 3 inches went out to close the pop door birds went crazy over what fell off my boots so made about 8 snowballs rolled them in oh my all went crazy pecking them it was comical

@penny1960 Im good! It was a crazy summer chicken wise. I ended up getting rid of all my Wheaten Ameraucanas from one line and replaced them with a proven breeding quad of Blue Wheatens from Diamond Dust farm in Belfair. I also replaced all my layers. It was a busy summer! I’m glad everything is slow right now.

We had 4 inches the first round and only some melted. So far I think we have about 1 1/2 - 2 inches and still snowing. Looks like the wind has picked up here too.

@penny1960 Oh my goodness has it been that long since I posted here? I had a girl August 17, 2017. We named her Abigail Lorraine. She’s pushing 18 months old this month! Time has flown by!

Our snow here is like lava. If you step in it your feet might burn right off, so you have to jump up and down in the hope your human will carry you to the porch. Then you can sneak in the house through the dog door.
