Welcome to the state thread all of us here I am south 21 miles from i-5 tiny town
picked up 4 major started birds ready to lay 3 blue marans tiny very young this is for the silkie so they will give up eggs won't hatch will do that tonight .. also bought 9 good started birds 5 are cuckoo marans some buff and a few white with a bit of black on them

Does the weather feel like it's changed where you are? It's been having that autumn feel here

My load of birds from auction 4 to silkie get them off bad eggs that where not going to hatch day 24 and they are super mothers gave 3 Blue marans beautiful peeps like wow the cockerel is really flashy even young the other two must be pullets then no flash but pretty little things .. think allot of what I picked are cuckoo marans the crate and the box are 2 ages the the box are well started no heat the crate is almost point of lay

Someone is molting. He's not actually afraid of me anymore. I'm pretty sure that he thinks he's a silkie. He showed up here and moved in about a year ago.

Weather is definitely changing. Cooler nights, breezier days. Autumn is nearly here

sure looks content, of the 9 did loose the one that was under the others mistake was mine did not really look at the box after we put the 9 in and Dillon one of the new helpers closed it

We have close to 80 here 60's at night so they say it will last all week coming
