We have a Mareema and a black Lab 26 birds in the main coop no one laying some the days are numbered going to take them auction raising a a dozen young to replace them

It's good for your dogs to get along with chickens. Both of my dogs are protective, but I know so many have dog issues.

I am one but tell ya Snow about shocked me have the brooder in the computer room she likes to lay under Richards desk has since little she was being banned with peeps in here let her in today looked went layed down not even a hard look there is hope wait and see .. Silkie in their tractor it has a metal roof reaches halfway down the side they figured how to get their top wet slicked back hunting bugs will move the tractor tomorrow cleaned their coop down to the floor lot's of lidocaine

Thanks! Yeah our dogs are great working dogs and listen really well. Our barred rock is getting a little pecky at the dogs and the dogs don't know what to do. Any ideas on slowing down a protective chicken?

Usually the dogs should back up if not a hose or spray bottle with water is my method and solid No
