OH yes heard that but would't be without a great rooster
I have a EE he is Red in the main coop .. Then I have raised a blue copper marans
we have named him smudge .. I only name my boys

Hey guys, would you know anything about seasonal allergies in chickens this time of year in the NW area of WA? My chicken has bubbly eyes and has been sneezing. What can I do for her?

I'm exactly the same as you! The names they have now are just the best ones we landed on, but the majority of the time we just call them all Red or Fluffy Butt. Or Bertha. Or Hildegard. Or whatever strikes my fancy in the moment

I usually only name roosters. There are only a few of them. All five of my white silkies have a theme name only the rooster recognizes his name. And runs when I say it because I used it when I used to make him pose for pictures.
