Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Last night around 1am I was still trying to go to sleep, had the tv on a timer and I thought was that coyote on tv? Lol I hit the mute and omg he must have been right in the yard it was so loud! I grabbed my phone to try to record it to play for my Aussie friend but no all went quiet. DH slept through it. :gig So of course I don’t know how long I laid there wondering if he would start up again! Sleepy today, but at least I know why!

For those who sell their eggs, how's business been for you?
I recently started selling eggs to people in our town for $3/dozen and a lot of them really love the different egg colors. Yesterday I sold a dozen for a dollar more than my price because a returning customer loved them more than the store ones.
That’s so great! It’s nice when people appreciate your efforts isn’t it?

I see egg prices ranging all over with $4 seeming the most common (this is mostly by looking on CraigsList). When I see really low egg prices it makes me wonder why they are asking so low. I think that $4 should be a minimum when we sell them. The environments we raise our bird in is far superior to anything else that you can buy in a grocery store, even Whole Foods. Don't undervalue yourself.

I do $3/dozen because I only recently started. I didn't want to overprice our eggs.

Was at Farmland in Silverdale today and they have these chicks in right now:
