Great place to ask there are members from there @Leigti is in Walla Walla might be able to help point to others there most all birds are safe for winters

I have my share of boys right now. Only 5 silkie pens plus the large fowl pen.

Those are pretty boys though

Probably most would do fine in Spokane. It doesn't have the rain issues that make for special housing for silkies we have on this side.

You're not off that much on weather from the Tri-cities. I have family and friends just south of that over the Oregon border. Several have multiple chicken breeds that do just fine.

Proof that chickens have 4 wings and are direct descendants of the microraptors.

Yes grandma is a bit old and tattered at 8 (or older. Was adult when I got her.) Her feet used to be more silkied but each molt they have become more like wing feathers.
