So far I haven’t had to deal with it during the winter, for one thing it’s during or right after molt and they’re not out eating snails and slugs. It seems to be late spring or summer when they need worming after eating all the aforementioned creatures which gives them worms. :sick

I think having good food put away is prudent right now.

I totally agree! So far we have canned tomatoes and beans! Our corn, pumpkins & spaghetti squash are growing. We have peppers to put away today... I will probably be busy canning & putting produce in the freezer all week! I think I will turn some of my Zucchini into zoodles and put them in the freezer! We also have some nice melons, can't wait to harvest those...I need to figure out the best way to preserve them, I'm thinking freezer! I will also be making more pickles! We also have rabbit in the freezer, I will be breeding my new stock as soon as the weather cools down a bit more! :)
