Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

We did eventually accomplish moving the coops and fencing. It's not as pretty of a spot, but fresh grass and less mud is good. Plus, being next to the back side of a big compost pile is a feature for the chickens. The Silver Laced Barnevedlers think so anyway. They are fantastic at smoothing out a messy compost area. The rest of the flock got split into two groups (need a few weeks with the right rooster before I can incubate) and those with the young Cream Legbar are not all that happy. They want to go back to the main flock.

I think we are neighbors. You are right about secure housing. Do raccoons dig? I know rats do, not sure about other critters, dogs and coyotes, probably? Hot wire it will be along the lower and upper. Zap go the noses and paws. Long lake area. How bout you?
Smack in the middle of the puddle. Bainbridge .
