I got a case of Roma's from Jeremy's in Chehalis. Home need to scrape tables but walked in the door 60 in the house fire in the stove this good day...
Like the rain but love my rain gear too.
We were talking on the way home need about 6 point of lay girls .. Does mean I will need to cull some birds I am not thrilled about doing but can.

If he was colored properly, everyone could tell he's a mini aussie. That white face throws everyone off.

Well the breed has allot of other blood it just now.

Mini aussies? They were bred down from full size ones back in the late 60s and 70s for those who wanted a smaller herding dog. Hermes is from stock dog lines, not AKC lines. He's registered with the American Stock Dog Registry. He's what is called mis-marked. It happens sometimes. He's not from merle to merle breeding which can result in white and deaf dogs. His mom was red and his dad blue merle.

Yes Australian shepherds have a lot of different dogs in their background. That's generally how most breeds started.They are well established as their own breed now. Their name rules meant that minis are under miniature american shepherd for AKC.

Hermes' herding instinct is insane. As he's gotten a longer attention span, teaching him has become easier. He's starting to allow chickens to be out of their pens until I call him to put them up. That was a huge step for him.
